Two dogs were rescued from a beach in Port Erin on Monday after getting cut off by the tide.

Coastguard crew were called to Traie Veg after a concerned member of the public spotted them.

Port Erin Lifeboat provided rescue cover whilst the dogs were recovered to the main beach.

The animals had escaped from a nearby property and were said to be no worse for their adventure.
