The Association of Corporate Service Providers’ programme of professional development courses for 2017 is now available for booking.
The courses will be delivered in the main, once again, by corporate governance training specialist Jo French, who has been working in partnership with the ACSP since 2004.
The 2017 programme opens with two courses on Thursday January 19th dealing with terrorist financing: in the morning operational realities and impacts; in the afternoon, risks and indicators. These 19th January courses will be delivered by UK experts Neil Bennett and Ross Savage, who have led operational terrorist finance investigations and contributed to UK policy and strategy, domestically and internationally.
Friday January 20th will feature two courses delivered by Jo French who will provide essential information and survival guide sessions; the first for those looking to serve as CSP directors, the second for those looking to serve as professional trustees.
The remainder of the year’s programme follows the usual successful format and, along with AML and MLRO training, includes update sessions on key regulatory and compliance issues, developments in fiduciary duties and liabilities, emerging markets for organised crime, asset recovery, risk management, effective company and trust administration, corporate governance and the ‘Panama Papers’, one year on.
All courses will be at the Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas.
Course prices are £55 per session for staff of ACSP members or associate members, £80 per session for non-members.
